What size should I ask ChatGPT, Gemini or Claude to make my business card?
Ask for the full size including bleed. Standard 3.5 x 2 in cards need 3.75 x 2.25 in artwork, which is 1125 x 675 pixels at 300 DPI (a 5:3 landscape ratio). Square 2 x 2 in cards need 675 x 675 pixels, and Slim 3.5 x 1.75 in cards need 1125 x 600 pixels. When you upload, the preview shows a ready-made prompt for your size that you can copy straight into your AI chat.
My AI image is square. Will it work on a business card?
Yes. The upload preview shows exactly which part of your image will be printed. You can drag the image to choose what is kept and zoom in or out, and the press file uses exactly that crop. For the best result, ask your AI for a landscape image at the exact size, or add Human Edit & Proofs and a designer will adjust it for you.
How do I make sure the text on my AI business card prints correctly?
AI image tools often misspell small text, phone numbers and email addresses, so zoom in on the preview and check every character before ordering. Keep all text inside the dashed safe line, at least 1/4 inch from the edge of the artwork. If anything needs fixing, Human Edit & Proofs ($25) lets a designer correct it and email you a proof before we print.
Can I print a different design on the back?
Yes. Click + Back design and upload a second file. The price updates instantly in the calculator. Many customers use the front for their AI artwork and the back for contact details or a QR code.
Which business card stock should I choose?
Standard 16pt is a thick, rigid, cost-effective card with a choice of gloss or matte coating. Premium Suede adds a soft-touch velvet feel that makes dark AI artwork look rich. Smooth Silk has a silky, low-glare finish and resists water and tearing. Solid, Frosted and Clear plastic cards are waterproof and tear-proof, which suits VIP, membership and statement cards.
Will my colors look the same as on my screen?
Screens show RGB light while presses print CMYK ink, so we convert every file with a professional press color profile. Most colors match closely. Very bright neons, electric blues and glowing gradients can print slightly calmer than they look on screen.
How long does it take to get my business cards?
Business cards are printed in 2-5 business days after payment, or after you approve your proof if you chose Human Edit & Proofs. Shipping is free by UPS Ground anywhere in the United States, and you get a tracking link by email as soon as they ship.
