Envelopes FAQ
What size should my AI envelope design be?
A #10 business envelope is 9.5 x 4.125 in, which is 2850 x 1238 pixels at 300 DPI. Envelopes are printed without bleed, so keep everything at least 1/4 inch from the edges and design on a white or light background.
Where should I place my logo and return address?
Put your logo and return address in the top-left corner. Keep the center and right side clear for the recipient address and postage, and leave the bottom 5/8 inch clear for the USPS barcode. This helps your mail go through postal sorting machines without delays.
Can I print on the back flap?
Not at the moment. Envelopes are printed in full color on the front only (4/0).
Will the contents show through the envelope?
No. We use 70lb opaque stock chosen so letters, invoices and checks don't show through.
Do the envelopes have a window?
These are #10 envelopes without a window. They pair well with our letterhead for a consistent, professional set.
How long do envelopes take to print?
Envelopes take 4-6 business days to print and ship free by UPS Ground within the United States, with tracking sent by email.
